Roman Reigns, whose real name is Leati Joseph "Joe" Anoa'i, is a professional wrestler who gained fame and success in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). He was born on May 25, 1985, in Pensacola, Florida, United States. Reigns comes from a prestigious wrestling family, known as the Anoa'i family, which includes legendary wrestlers like The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), Yokozuna, and Rikishi.

Reigns began his career in the WWE developmental territory, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), in 2010. He was then brought up to the main roster and made his WWE debut as a member of The Shield alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in 2012. The Shield quickly became one of the most dominant factions in WWE history and achieved numerous accolades together.

As a member of The Shield, Reigns held the WWE Tag Team Championship once with Rollins. Following the group's breakup in 2014, Roman Reigns embarked on a singles career and gained immense popularity. With his impressive athleticism, powerful presence, and charismatic personality, he became a prominent figure in WWE.

Reigns' character underwent a significant transformation in 2015 when he adopted a more aggressive and villainous persona. This change led to the creation of "The Roman Empire" and marked his ascent as one of the top stars in WWE. Reigns won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on multiple occasions and headlined several WrestleMania events, solidifying his position as the face of the company.

In 2018, Reigns announced that he was taking a hiatus from WWE due to his battle with leukemia, a disease he had previously overcome. This revelation garnered widespread support and admiration from the WWE Universe and beyond. After an inspiring recovery, Reigns made a triumphant return to WWE in 2019.

Following his return, Reigns evolved his character further, adopting a more confident and dominant persona as "The Tribal Chief" and aligning himself with Paul Heyman as his special counsel. This new incarnation of Reigns has been characterized by his arrogance, strategic mindset, and assertion of his Samoan heritage.

Since his return, Reigns has enjoyed tremendous success and has held the WWE Universal Championship multiple times. He has engaged in high-profile rivalries with notable opponents, such as Daniel Bryan, Edge, and John Cena, among others. Roman Reigns' reign as Universal Champion has been characterized by his dominant and calculated approach, solidifying his status as one of the most formidable figures in WWE today.

Outside of the wrestling ring, Roman Reigns has appeared in movies such as "Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw" (2019) and has made guest appearances on television shows.
